Anybody know where I can find an online dealer or someone that has a catalog dealing with this type of music? Thanks, later plmczy
I know a little about with music but what exactly is rockabilly? Everyone talks about rockabilly posers and ****. I think rods are rods, just trying to know how this "rockabilly" fits in.
Rockabilly is basically traditional rock and roll music mixed with a hillbilly/country-ish twang...inherent in the name. It fits in the scene today the same way tattoos and many other things do, just a lot of people into it. I, personally, prefer straightedge ******** and death metal...
ok, we don't have a scene here so I don't know much about "kulture". I perfer social D and Johnny cash, guess thats kinda rockabilly?
Here's a couple of good ones that I've bought from. Hepcat Records has changed ownership I guess. I haven't ordered from them since it happened but bought alot from them before with great service. www.gollygeerecords.com www.hepcatrecords.com
Rock-It Radio is pretty damm good. I have a friend Steve from the UK who lives in New Jersey, he is a music dealer, Spindrift Records Steve will hook you up with most anything you need. Dave
personally i prefer Lionel Richie thats hot stuff, i never really understood anything else, hey im gonna get a lionel richie tattoo anyone else here into him? http://www.raucousrecords.com/ <-- both rocka n psychobilly records http://www.babesociety.dk <-- good online radio with requests might be down now or they fixed some firewall at work
Thanks for the links guy's, that's what i was looking for. Deamon, yeah I like his early stuff but don't tell anyone . Fry, check a couple of the artists out on these links, they are pretty good. It's cool to get away from the mainstream music and get back to the roots. I like a little bit of everything and this is just a way of finding music that I can't get around here. Thanks again guy's. later plmczy
