Not true. As of right now it will be a 16 car field. The track operators said that if a sponsor steps up that they will have a 32 car field. But either way there will be at least 32 nitro-burning floppers at the March Meet. This is a must see event if you haven't been.

maybe its me, but those new nostalgia funny cars just dont look quite right.

 

You're right, some look horrible, Most are very well put together machines that are fan favorites. It has been many years since a 32 car show has been put together. I hope it works out.

DragRacingOnline reported a day earlier that the 32 car field was a rumor. The track has not changed it's FC plans with Heritage Series officials.
