  3. Here's one I picked up today. I have the rest and the donor truck also.. It belonged to my friend who passed away recently, unexpectedly. The family called two weeks ago and gave it to me. I was honored.

  4. Very generous of his family. Continue to honor him and finish it in the style he would have chosen....

    Marshall Vintage Auto,
What radiator are you running in this truck? I see the AC compressor who's evaporator are you running? Last but not least is that Booster/Master Cylinder setup the firewall mount unit from CPP in CA? I am curious to know how it performs..Thanks

This is mine its a 61 bought from a fellow hamber

  16. Love the front bumper. The DeSoto bezels...not so much. I prefer the simplicity of the original. Just my opinion (and we all know what THAT is worth!)

yah, that's what I've been thinking, if it didn't have the bumpers they'd be awesome but it seems like overkill with everything

Here are photos of my current '55 and a F100 telephone utility I saw in a junk yard in South Carolina. The guy wants $2k for it, and its all there. Also posted is a photo of my shop truck F150 hauling some junk I found. My 55 is a 350/350 with mustang II, leather and a/c. 10 inch rims are on the rear and bed is slightly tubbed.

When I get smart enough to load pics I will. St. axle front, down and forward springs, cross steer and 9'' with 4 spd and disc brakes. All metal work is done. Built a new bed and tailgate including cover myself by looking at various threads here. Geting ready to paint interior so I can start wiring. I have worked my ass off for the last 1 1/2 year inluding every dollar I could '' justify'' to spend. Want to have it driving by spring, then try to ''finish'' next winter. Basic truck was given to me by wife of my auto shop teacher and best friend. Dont mind the money or time spent and to my credit neither does my wife. Great wife.

May as well add the F100 that I purchased recently...

'64 Shortbox w/ '62 front clip (I think?), 292/3-speed, Mustang II front suspension with AirRide tubular control arms, Flaming River manual rack & pinion, coil-overs, flipped rear axle with C-notch.
Drove it back to Omaha from Houston, TX, and it ran great!

I have a 302/T-5 that I'm going to swap in and use the 292 for my Roadster project.
Will also be replacing the wheels/tires with the wheels in the photo below - 15x4 front, 15x8 rear.
