    I may be moving to the Tri-City area in June from AZ. Not impressed with Carter County Car Club (on e mails). Hope H.A.M.Bers have more Southern hospitality.

    While I don't know a whole lot about the club (not my thing), the Carter County Car Club puts on one helluva cruisin in Elizabethton, TN every Sat. night from spring to fall. They block off the downtown area for older cars only, and there is always a huge turnout ....usually several hundred cars. The Kingsport Antique & Rod club puts on several similar shows in Downtown Kingsport. On top of this, we are 1.5 hours away from Pigeon Forge, arguably the car show capitol of the south...something there every weekend during the summer & fall, including the Shades of the Past & Grand Rod Runs. In May, we have the Street Rod Nats in Knoxville. All in all, I think we live in a pretty "car friendly" area...
