After looking for years for a original deuce chassis I finally said "what the shit" and just ordered one from Pete & Jakes. Freeking beautiful. I know some of the HAMBERS won't care for it, but I'm digging the shit out of it.
why didn't ya tell that old fart to get his butt of'n yer rails when you were taking the pic? so how many hours did it take you and Al to drive to kansas city and back?
What's not to dig? Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and say rodding is way more important than restoring. Now if you can avoid the full on street rod route you got all under control. Jerry produces good pieces. You should enjoy many years of use from that one.
Cool. I had a P&J chassis under a '34 I used to have - good ride. Like anything else, the foundation makes all the difference.
Like others have said, looks great! With a solid foundation on hand its on to the next step(s) Shoebox
Congrats on your new p&j rolling chassis, i sold a few of them over the years and every one was just like the previous one :dead on" Keep us posted
That's a quality piece. Don't blame you one bit for choosing a shop fab chassis. Have fun with the build.
That gave me a Chuckle, Some time the Smartest decision is the Toughest to make. I always say "They all look good at 60 mph" Now quite sitting around and get to work. The Wizzard
I like your choice of hairpins and buggy springs... you'll have nice riding set-up. I've visited the Slover's a few times at the shop... nice folks and great products... got the nickle tour and i was impressed. Congrats...
Looks like an excellent start to what sounds like an interesting project.Good luck.........Mike P.S..........Who gives a shit if some HAMBERS don't care for it? Just my opinion
