  1. Not a 37, but you'd be hard pressed to beat it....

5.60 15 and G78 15. The front is an '80s Gibbon torsion bar kit with a Volare clip. The hot set up for about a minute, before the MII. I have a complete P&J dropped axle setup to switch it back someday, if I ever feel like tearing it back down.

Reason why there aren't many 37 coupes out there is probably because they were used up big time in circle track racing. The weren't considered good enough for a daily-driver rod, but they made great fodder for the track where nobody cared if they got all banged up --- and they had a V8 to boot!

Today 37 Coupes are scarce and they have an art-deco look to them that is attractive to many. I dig 'em. I've got to remember to go pull that '37 carc*** out of the ravine along I-15 one of these days! I've been telling myself that since 1978, and it's still there (I hope).

Cool! I'm glad someone else out there feels the way I do about a '37 three window. By the way, it was this very car built by a personal friend of mine that inspired this pineing for a real '37 three wndow.

I like this one. Very similar to Ryan's '38.

It is James Hetfields car which is probably why it is not on Dore's site. Rick probably helped with the design as they are both Beatniks. I have heard conflicting info on the builder I thought it was a David Grunion build but I also read that John Aiello built it so I'm not sure.

You can see the car by going here http://grunionfabrication.com/page.html?id=2&zenid=f1781213eafe10b4bd696d44976d6180 there were a lot of people involved in the build of this car I did the suspension , some sheet metal work, installed the motor and trans, shifter, and pretty much everything to make it a driver. Rick Dore is the designer of this car. If you have more questions just ask.
Oh and one more thing There is no David at Grunion.
    Thanks

37's used to be the bottom of the totum pole along with the 38 standard. Dubbed the 'ugly duckling' I had a club coupe once. Real ugly. So....found what was left of a 38 club cab. Transfered the parts to the coupe, chopped a few inches. I like 37 thou, always did.
