FUNK THAT!!!!! My wife is from way upstate New York, Tupper Lake area. Why would anyone want to live where they measure snowfall in meters instead inches is beyond me! It's bad enough in Kansas! Y'all just crazy!
my only complaint with this snow ....the road salt rusted my painted headers in less than a day... its got heat , got gas , it back to daily driver status.... though the 315's are a touch wide on snow
that sucks, yesterday we were stuck behind a sand truck.. on the Highway so we could not go away they blocked both lanes we had rocks hittin us for about 30 minutes
This just in... "The Town's Department of Sanitation has announced a new policy regarding plowing of residential streets in the city. Plows will no longer wait until the homeowner has spent several hours digging out his driveway before completely burying it with a 7 foot drift of highly packed snow" "What prompted the change?" "Three of our drivers were shot dead by homeowners this morning, and the rest quit". If only.....
.....about the subject of snow removal. There was a time in history, where it wasn't the g'uvments job to plow the snow, and we got along just fine...............
My Grandma told me that back in the day the milkman would plow the roads. My contribution Took me 5 hours to get all the snow out of my driveway. I had a monster 4 foot drift that was like 20 feet long that took forever to remove with the snow blower. I wound up doing donuts in it with the tractor just to break it up. Maybe I should just get a plow for the tractor
I'm cheating a bit ...... last year: Hopefully we won't get any of this bad weather this year ..... brrrrrrrrr Paco well that didn't work .... or did it ??
This is true. Farmers used to use big wooden horse drawn rollers to pack the snow so you could run on the roads with your horse and cutter or set of bobs. Gov snow plows came with the auto and working in town.
Just spent 4 1/2 hours shoveling snow....my snow blower died...it sucks........NO, I didn't take any pictures....7 inches in Bethlehem, Pa....I hear Philly got almost 2 feet....stan
