Are there any manual steering boxes that do not need to be reversed that will work for a cowl steering set up? everything I have come accross has to be reverse and i have not bought one yet or made a bracket so i thought if there was one that would work I would look for it first. Thanks

  2. I recently decided to try mounting the box so the extended shaft came out just under the frame rail. It works far beter than i ever thught and I may now be addicted to the design. Lots of room. No holes in firewall. Steering link goes straight to the steering arm. Not up or down but straight. Even allows the steering arm to be mounted under the tube axle instead of at the top. Clears up the whole axle deal as far as looks goes. Might not suit you but it deserves a look.

Manual toyota 4 wheel drive box, 79-84. has a nice flat four bolt mounting surface works great on the frame or with cowl steering.
