Mikes51 - Merc Questions

A good friend of mine (also Mike) is starting work on a 51 Merc.

He just sent me this email...

Nealin,
It's chopped 3" (vertical) in the front and 4 1/4" in the back. Slices in the rear half of the top really help flatten out the roof back there. I chopped it myself. Credit also goes to the maker of the "how to chop a Merc" video tape from Mr. Merc, I believe that person being Tom Steadman (spelling?).

The last Merc he did didn't have a top...
