    Ben,

Great choice in interior colour - my old 54 more-door was retrimmed with Olive Green leather - smelt great felt great, was great!!!:D:D:D I had a guy in Surrey road Cobrug do it.

If you look thru your Rodders Journals - there's that 34 roadster with a Caddy mill, and a barrell-nose grill, black with a green interior - one of my favourite hot rods.

todays progress.. made some changes to the door pocket design, so that will happen tomorrow.
the crossed corners design was inspired by a beautiful set of Gl*** etched doors That were in my Grandfathers house ,built in around 1936, this detail is all I can remember from them.

well here is the interior all done, for now I'll run ribbed rubber mats on the floor..ran out of money to do the carpets and upholster the trunk, will do that after its on the road.
Im really happy with the work Peter did, hes reasonably priced, fast and takes a lot of care. any aussie guys who need interior work done feel free to PM me for his details.
its really made the car something special.
I also put the engine together today, so Im ready to get the car running later next week.
For the moment, Im taking 5 days off and not thinking about cars. happy whatever!

Thanks guys, the ****ons are sitting in the doorpocket, all covered with green leather and ready, but Im thinking they will stay there.
I did a little work today, but no photos, got ribbed rubber for the floor and trunk mats and fitted the fuel tank sender unit and wired it up. still need to run the headlight wiring and hook up the circuits behind the dash..probably a days wiring. then engine back in before new year i hope!

yep its running, seems really torquey, still havent got it running perfect..bit rich..need smaller mains and have to do a vacuum/cruise test to determine whether the PVs are right.

The other thing I need to do is mark the crank to check timing.. I have a TDC mark, but need a ten& twenty mark to check overall advance..

Hi Hoey! thanks for the hand the other day!!

I've been following your progress...you could drive that car to El Mirage in, say, '47, and it would fit right in, the modern stuff is nice, but hidden, and the old stuff, like the unsplit wishbones, is cl***ic. WELL DONE!
