Bought a 350 s/b chevy guy didn't know what year it was or what it came out of. # TO118CHA JAL545733 are the #on p/s of block near water pump. 14010209 #D/S back of block. I tried to call local chevy dealer no luck. Any help on the I/D would be appreciated. Thank's PINCHER

    CHA 1980 305 LG4 H 155 4 Camaro/Monte
    CHA 1980 350 LM1 L 190 4 Camaro

weird, usually you don't see two different engines using the same code in the same year?

JAL545733 seems odd, the first character might be a 1? if so then it's a 1980 chevy car built in van nuys, probably a camaro

Texas 50 Thank's for the information. Kind of narrows it down 80/85 camaro or monte carlo. I do know it has 2 bolt main's,, replaced pan gasket . Thank's PINCHER
