It’s a couple days before Christmas and I’m thinking what a year, I raced and won with my family who I hold so dear. We raced the ANRA series and earned number one, We held our first Eagle Field race, a big success when it was done. We raced a short distance but you would of thought it was a mile, If you could of only seen Tom in Old6’s Dragster with his ear to ear smile. Sitting quietly in the shop is my Comet and our little HAMB Digger, They must be wondering how the new year could be any bigger. The Comet needs paint but we know Old6 is taking aim, So we need to make sure the dragster gets a 200 in it’s frame. I end this poem wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a blessed 2010, and rest assured I’m looking forward to doing it all again! I have been blessed in 2009 with a healthy family, a new grand daughter ( Molly Spicie Phillips ), a great job, many friends and great times. God bless you and Merry Christmas, Rocky
Watch the mail Tom, Santa has sent you a present and I hope you get it before Christmas Should get you all fired up and out in the shop getting ready (fingers crossed) for our Spring event!
Rocky, Much love to you and yours. May the spirit of Christmas last throughout the next year. Looking forward to spending time with our racing family. Kay
Rocky, we watched your gift last night. Major cool, thanks a bunch, definitely a big piece of kindling to keep the fires lit.
A merry Christmas to you and your families as well, Rocky & Lee. Meter and phrasing not withstanding , that's the best new poem I've read this year. But then I guess I should expect friends of my choosing to have a great understanding of the season and the holiday. And in as much as it takes at least two votes to carry a movement, thank you for choosing us too. ps. Got to watch mine as well after switching it to Kay's computer (mine apparently doesn't have the correct program yet, we'll fix that after the parade). Cool beans.
