I have been looking at events threads and I got wondering which States best represent Hot Rodding in the overall sense.

It seems when it comes to Events and Hot Rod Shops of distinction as well as enthausiasm and best builds.

Do certain States seem to build more customs or traditional rods or what?

Which States seem to be doing best and more often and does it have anything to do with support by local authorities or location or size of State?

Just wonder what you guys thought and how you see it.
TX and CA come to mind 1st but the NY and WA are well represented in my eyes!

Enough said, what do you think and why?

Just guessing here but I've been all over and Califas is the only place I've lived where there's always an old car/hot rod or custom to be seen.

this is about the silliest question I've seen posted here in quite some time. it's just a big drama magnet. There is no one state that is better. this needs to be nuked.

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO,;) ColoRoDo Has to be the place for hot rods, or soon will be, (prolly not). Maybe in the past California has represented well, but it's just cuz you guys had a better publicist.:D Just like in the 80s everyone wanted to have a gay person as there best friend,:) and a car built by one of the expensive car builders of california. And you could get both in california. ( No offense to gay people) :) But now that the rules are catching up with ya, Its become an open playing field. So who represents the best of hot rodding. I would have to say. The midwest states have it going on right now. And I don't see any signs of them letting it go...John

Is "nuff said" another way of telling everyone else to shut the hell up and their opinion doesn't matter?
And this is a stupid thread.

Stay cool guys, I was just interested in you point of view, it was not aim at causing arguments, more about your opinion asked for with thoughts as to why you think that.

I find in my limited experience that most of the big States seem to be well repesented in general, but you may draw my attention to hidden secrets out there.

I know Americans are very State and town proud in general so put that to one side.

Your call if you want to screw it up or keep civil.

Every state and, indeed, every country of the world is equally wonderful.

    Except Canada.

Thought for example I would have read something like in my opinion,
    TX runs the best events
    CA has the most runs
    NV has the best shows
Best customs all seem to come out of NY
All the trophies seem tio end up in CO
The toughest fasted cars always seem to be from FL.

Kinder sorry I asked now so to all of you out please acceot my most humble apologies.

Hmm, after more than six decades in the scene. I would say, The United States. Of course, there are also some excellent examples in Europe, Australia, Great Britain, New Zealand and.....like that.
    DUMB QUESTION!!
