Hey everyone, I'm Rusty from Fridley, MN. I'm 29 and drive a '52 Pontiac Chieftain that's pretty much all original. I keep myself busy as an event coordinator for the Tomahawk Ch. 13 Pontiac Club, I'm active in the MSRA Ignitors Youth Rodder Car Club and I'm also active in the MSRA. I'm currently running for board of directors for MSRA. I enjoy all cars, but especially those from the 30's-50's. I like just about everything from one off customs to all original/restored cl***ics. I'm a happy go lucky, fun and friendly guy. I'm married, with a 10 month old daughter who doesn't particularly like to sleep (gets that from dad). I work as a 911 dispatcher, but I'm looking to get into something else, possibly become a construction contractor. Any questions for me just ask.
Welcome Rusty ! Nice Intro. My nephew Wade is in the Ignitors with a red 63 fairlane that I helped him build. Doug
Hey Doug, I know who you are now, you've got an awesome collection of Falcons and some cool rods too! We toured your place this spring and it was really cool. My brother is working on a '63 Falcon convert. He's planning on putting in a Mustang II with a 5.0 out of a Cougar he's got sitting in his yard. I know where we'll be coming with questions. Wade is a really good guy. How is your daughters car coming along? Rusty
Rusty, My daughter's ranchero is painted and on hold. I am currently working on my son's 65 2 dr wagon and my 36 roadster. Let me know if you have any questions putting in a IFS in a falcon. I have 8 on them under my belt. Doug
That roadster looks like it's gonna be cool rod! You had more Falcons stacked in that garage than I ever expected or thought possible. I will definately let you know when we get to the IFS. Thanks, Rusty
Thanks Shawn, I'm surprised more people don't use them for customs as they have good lines and features for doing so. Mine is in too nice of original condition to warrant me wanting to cut it up, so I'll just have to wait and find another one that's got some problems and do that up.
Thanks for the welcomes guys! Yes lot's of MSRA guys here. I'm gonna make an MSRA group on here so we can find eachother easily. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
