looking for help answering a few questions on my suspension. if i keep my stock suspension-leafs & solid axle- whats the cheapest way to lower it? the back , i thinking to just notch the frame & flip the springs. what has me stumped is the front leaf situation. with them under the frame rails , i seem to be lost. is there a simple & cost effective drop? im not in a position to subframe it @ the moment. ive also decided against a frame swap & to be honest , i really cant spend the cash on dropped leafs right now. just trying to get as low as i can & get on the road a.s.a.p. any help , tech or pics would be greatly appreciated , thanks!
Depends how low you wanna go, A drop axle or/and drop leafs sre ideal. Alternatively, check these links which look at putting the fronts leafs under the axle or just removing a couple leafs. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=215608&highlight=lower+leaf+chevy+truck http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=425045
