My kids are scared to ride it! it handles pretty bad, and the throttle sticks, etc, so maybe that's a good thing.

Not exactly a minibike but result of what you get by destroying one of the Orange County Chopper bikes that you can get at Wal-Mart. Hatch is TOTALLY responsible for this one. He bought one and started to put a motor in it and I took the bait. I'm trying to get it finished and will probably give it to one of my grandkids before I kill myself on it.

WOW sawzall. Somewhere I think I have a 20 inch front wheel that didn't come from a department store bike...that thing is a 20 spoke disaster.

What wheels did you use on the OC chopper deal? Looks like good brakes. I'm interested in doing something similar.

eBay purchase two years ago as a pile of ****. Got screwed on that one. $300 later it is rideable. Still needs forks work and paint. Goes good on the salt. [IMG]

Damn.... every time I see one of those I wonder how hard it would be to squish a motor in there.... that back tire is pretty damn beefy. Then snag a triple crown mountain bike fork with a manual disc brake off of Ebay for some stopping power and some front end travel and your good to go...

Damnit, where is my checkbook? AHhh to close to Xmas.

BTW, Sawzall, that bike is killer!

Here's the one I've been building for a while. It's all in vain though, since it's just gonna colapse when I hit a bump. [IMG] And old picture...

I saw a guy in the parking lot at GG in KC that had two of the big OCC bikes that he had put on Kohler engine's, I think.

He used the pedal ***y hole as a jackshaft. Chain went forward to the shaft then back to rear wheel. $700.00 was the asking price. Looked cool.

That would be a BBB (Big Block Briggs) I believe. Holy ****, at 16 or 18 hp that would qualify as a crotch rocket. [IMG]

DIXIEDOG..Actually that bike i helped a buddy of mine build, i just painted it for him, I personally think he missed the point of a minibike, even with us doing all the fab/paint etc, he still dumped almost 5 grand in that thing. Coulda bought a basket sporty for that! I will try and post the ones me and 38chevy454 built...alot more practicle and I personally like my old school look with the apehangers

  24. This is my son Cole's minibike we built last year.
