Happy day AFTER CHRISTmas everyone: I am Michael and I was directed to this group by some members of the fordflatheadv8 group over at Yahoo. I've just bought a 1949 Ford Custom, Club Coupe from a museum in Missouri and hope to come into this group so I can learn more about my car and the "care and feeding" of it. I'll answer all questions from you folks and I'm sure you'd rather I do that than go into details that you really don't care about. The coupe, Emma Jean, has a Mercury engine with Offenhauser heads and intake which mounts a Holley 4 barrel carburetor. Stock other than that and many chrome items in the engine bay. Interior is white "rolled and pleated" naugahyde topping a black loop/pile carpet. JVC AM-FM CD under the dash. Lowered, dummy spots and lake pipes, Foxcraft style skirts, wide white sidewall 6.70x15" tires and '57 Lancer wheel covers. Nuff said for now. Michael.
