Bring your own stock of old Dutch Ketchup chips. You can nibble on them while driving or use them to bribe US border guards.

  3. you guys and your chips!

I believe I have a Drivers fender and running board lined up for the 1935 Chevy, still looking for wiper parts...

French Lake Auto has the fenders and running board, just waiting for some pictures to see the shape, all other places listed had nothing to be found....any other suggestions?

    picture of my pops car...

I know that car well! It's been around for awhile, always loved it. My first car was a '35 Master 2-door as well, but without the trunk.

  5. Ya the car has been in the family almost as long as I have...was bought in 73, hit the road in 76 for the Canadian Street Rod Nationals...was 2 tone primer with a Hemi.

Those old Chevy's are a labour of love, unless you are a carpenter! All the wood was removed in the 80's and replaced with steel.

OMG is that Russ's car? Still has it? Say hi to him for me ok?

  7. Will have to be pried from my cold dead hand before it ever leavers the family!

It is in parts right now getting refreshed, found the old damage that was improperly dealt with all these years and decided it was time to make it right.

Sorry not sure who you are tedley?!!?

Just watched your Youtube video...NOW I KNOW!! Hey Ted how is it going?

Nice to see that the car is still in good hands! Can't wait to see it back on the road.

My '35 was sold soon after I first dragged it home, due the not having a clue how to tackle the wood (or lack of) issue. I was 14 at the time and thought I knew a lot more than I really did.

Check with Windy Hill Auto located north of New London MN. They crushed a lot of vintage tin but have since been building up inventory of old stuff.

  20. Thanks for the food info....

If anyone in Dallas can give me a tip, I am looking for a place to swap coolant and give a battery a load test and give a brake system a quick check on a 1995 Taho. Know of any economic and reputable places that could do this on the 29th?
