I cleaned and prepped the floor in my Chevy Pickup for insulation. I have a couple of rolls of the roof flashing stuff...

Right now it's cleaned and has a fresh coat of Rustoleum primer.

Tore apart practically the whole front of my car to get to and replace the timing chain/gears. Got them replaced but still have to re-assemble tomorrow.

Also figured out the mounting of my new radio.

Shoveled snow, moved cars around the driveway to accommodate same and repeated it three times +. Got 15" of snow since Friday night!

Otherwise, spent time with my family...the best!

Drove an open, un-heated car over three hundred miles through some really beautiful back-country areas on a pie run with about a hundred or so fellow hotrodders. :)

  22. Went to the junkyard yesterday and went to the Horseless Carriage club's "Holiday Motor Excursion" this morning.

Had 15 people over for Chritmas dinner then drove to Visalia to visit my daughter and her husband for the week end. So I guess you could say I did nothing but, but my family and friends might disagree.
    Happy New Year to All

Worked on the A-sedan frame and motor mounts, sold my motorcycle (gathered all the parts), ate like a pig, drank like a fish, watched a bunch of football, enjoyed the hell out of it. Back to the real world in the morning.

Ready for another short week coming up.:D

Fabbed up an aluminum insert for my dash gauges. Farged it up on the drill press, so I fabbed up another one. I'll try the drill press again tomorrow, hopefully I don't farg it up again.

  29. G'day, Got snowed in Christmas eve and didn't dig out till yesterday. I guess we got about 25 inches of snow. It took about 4 hours to get the wife's 4x4 out so left my little car till the city clears the alley. Poor little car is just a snow bank now. At least I think it is still there.

Got called late last night that my uncle had a fatal heart attack trying to get through the snow at his house. My dad is devastated. I hope to get up there tomorrow night. ms

With the help of a couple fellow HAMBers, I chopped the shit out of my 40 chevy truck! We took 5 inches out of the back, dropped the rear window down 2 inches, and took 3 inches out of it. The front was cut 5 inches, then we laid the post back about an inch and a half. It looks righteous. I will post some picks as soon as I get some more stitching and grinding done. I hope to have it drivable by round up!
