I'm in love with this straight six. It would be super fun to build around.

This is just my opinion, but I think those are fine stock--except those engines are really expensive to rebuild.

But they're great cars when they're done.

Not really rod or custom bait, but nice.

Again, though, just my two cents.

  3. I would hate to be the first with the English car jokes.

J/K, nice find. Love those lines.

That is possibly the most beautiful inline engine ever built and it'd make me pause for one moment before installing a SBC...........Just kidding....kind of.....but not really.

    Good luck with the project.

Is it a 2.4 or 3.4? I'm thinking the former.

That old service station belongs to a good friend of mine. He is the nicest guy you would ever want to meet. He actually got offended when I bought my own welder instead of borrowing his. The Jag was in the station when he bought it. His son has tried to buy it (the car), but the owner wasn't ready to sell. He moved it outside a couple of weeks ago in order to put in a new door and windows. Supposedly the engine and trans were rebuilt? The car is in pieces all over. I suppose if you are truly interested I could give you the number of the guy who owns the station. I don't know the jag's owner.
