NO, A coupe is a coupe and a roadster is a roadster. T roadsters are easy to find still why not sell the coupe and get what you want instead of cutting up a good car? There was one that had roadster doors and cowl that looked cool but in my opinion it will never look right just cutting the roof off that.

Don't cut the roof off. If you really want a roadster, sell that body and buy a roadster. They aren't any harder to find than a coupe that still has it's doors with it.

I tried it once, about 50 years ago. After what it turned out to be, I say "DON'T DO IT". The thing about a "T"coupe is that you can leave the top insert off and it's almost an open car.:) I've seen them with "snap-on" tops that looked pretty kool. That looks like a pretty solid body. In this day and age, we really shouldn't be f*cking up old tin unless there's a very GOOD reason. Just my 2 cents.

The "was a coupe" from Beatnik has been one of my favorite hot rods since I first saw it in the '60's

I wouldn't cut it up , the coupe is too cool to do that to . I would find a roadster .

  11. Somebody post a pic of the Roach Rod. Not a 27 but same principal.

Beatnik, I can appreciate the history of that coupe/roadster but I think it could be reproduced today in gl*** form. Looks nice but with no doors kinda looks gl***y!

It's all a matter of personal taste, but I never really liked the Anderegg coupe-into-roadster...I agree with those who say get a real roadster, they are still out there, or chop the coupe.

It's your car do what you want, but that is a nice body for cutting up. I would sell or trade it for what you want. As for me I would leave it alone.

Just like others have already said, trade it for a roadster if that's what you want. That coupe body is pretty clean.

I'd have to agree that cutting up a solid find wouldn't be right... if it were damaged in some way, well...

If you need to cut, may I suggest this:

...love to see it built. Good luck with the project, and Happy New Year!

I think so....but ours was already butchered up, so that made the decision very easy, but I wouldve cut up a coupe because of what we are doing with the tribute roadster.

That one looks solid enough to save as a coupe to me. I woudn't do it myself. Except for a chop, if you really can't live without playing with it.
