Okay I admit, this might be a stupid question but hey, I'll put it out there anyway.
Is there such a thing as a list of Nuts/bolts required for ***embling a Model A roadster body?

I'm getting ready to start getting it together and rather than buying bags of useless chit, I've been looking to see if Henry had layed out something.

thanks in advance... now I'll blend back into the shadows.

Call Steve or Phil at Bert's Model A in Denver (800/321-1931) and order a catalog. Plenty of info on fasteners and while you're at it, get a MARC/MAFCA Judging Standards binder. Even though you're rodding an A, the Judging standards and a collection of 1928-1931 Service bulletins is also handy as a reference guide, especially if you're running a Model A drive train

  4. The best reference and source for all Model A and early V8 hardware is Roy Nacewicz Enterprises. They've been around for a long time and cater to the serious restorer and builder. I've bought from them and their stuff is the best. Well researched and the right parts, with the right finishes and appearance. If you want the correct stuff, buy from them. You won't be dissapointed. Their V8 catalog is now over 80 pages and the Model A catalog is 23 pages, covering every nut and bolt you'll need. 49-53 Ford is available as well. All catalogs are on line at:

    http://www.fordscript.com/ford_bolts/products.html

Over 3000 different hardware products for Henry's best, and it's all made in the good 'ol USA. Is there anything really more traditional than using the original style bolts to hold your hot rod togerther?

  7. Hey, thanks 37Kid. I'm new, but a long time HAMB lurker and hot rodder. I've got my work ahead of me if I'm ever going to come close to the number of posts all you pros have posted. I'm just constantly amazed at the knowledge and willingness to help other guys with their projects. What a great place!

But, right now it's -31C outside with the wind chill! So, there's not much I can do on the cars! Maybe I'll go order some more bolts from Roy....

Happy New Year to you and all the great people here on the HAMB!

Wow, thanks everyone. Now the big challenge... any lists of body panel bolts/ nuts kicking around?

Happy New Year everyone. Support your local Designated Driver... they need love too!

  9. Just check Roy's catalogs. Everything is broken down by category (body, frame, hood, doors, dash, engine, etc....) and then by specific body type into various kits with everything you'll need. I'm sure that a PM to Roy will bring even more info, if required. Happy building!
