1956 mercury custom pics?

    So i also have a sweet side.... My mom is getting on in age with cancer and i would love to build her dream car for her. When she "was going" with my dad she had a 56 mercury custom, turquoise and white...which i think was a dechromed montclair? please correct me if im wrong on that..My dad made her trade it in for "a gross battleship gray chevy" because it had a blown head gasket:eek:
    Ive only ever seen one, it was on ebay, rotted to nothing in the everglades. So everytime i do any sort of search i end up with customized montclairs and such. Hope you all can help with my research...thanks

    i have a 1956 mercury medlist close to monty but has the post hard to find but worth it hope this helps
