Folks Of Interest Att. WI HAMBERS... Terry Lapp (sargeusmc39) has passed away...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by wingnutz, Dec 30, 2009.

  1. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but we lost a Wisconsin HAMB'r this week... "sargeusmc39" Terry Lapp to cancer.

I've known Terry most of my life and he's allways been an inspiration to myself as well as many other HAMB members and Hot Rodders around the state.

He loved the HAMB and the events such as "The Hunnert Car Pile Up" and the "S****drive"... and he had a P***ion for not only the cars but for the Marine Corps and all the members of both of those organizations!!!

"Semper Fi" and God Speed Terry....!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the late notice... his visitation is this afternoon 4-6 pm

He and my dad are good friends, he sold me my first motor!

I remember looking at the underside of a pro-street truck he had built years back, thinking that his undercarriage was nicer than anything I'll ever build!

    RIP Terry

Thank you to all of you! The "SARGE" will be greatly missed by many. Words could not possibly describe the man behind the wheel of so many rides.

"Life is not a journey to the grave
    With the intention of
    Arriving safely in a pretty
    And well preserved body,
But rather to skid in broadside,
    Thoroughly used up,
    Totally worn out,
    And loudly proclaiming,
    WOW !!!! What a FU*@#N ride!

Terry was a great guy. The last time I saw him, he came to the shop to tell me how great the Lone Star Roundup was. He will be missed.
