Gene Winfield Metal Class Minnesota!

Gene Winfield will be doing a metal working cl*** at Minnesota Hot Rod Hardware!
They are located in West Concord, MN. Most of you folks north of the boarder know of Tim G. & his shop. Tim & his crew rock the party & he is a great open mouth kisser...what?

This GENE WINFIELD ALERT may already be someplace here on the HAMB, but I did not see it so I thought it would be helpful to get the word out. Tim & some of his homies attended a similar event our club hosted about this time last year here in Milwaukee, Very fun, very informative.

They will be chopping the top on 40 Mercury Coupe February 6-7 2010.

I watch Winfield and some guys from a tech school chop a 48 chevy at Back to the Fifties about 4 or 5 years ago. I learned a lot just stopping by the tent from time to time checking their progress.

 

I was stoked as hell about the 10-15 mins he spent doodling on a piece of paper, showing me how to chop a 39 ford pick-up I'm getting ready to do for a dude. Gene is plain Awesome!!!

 

Alright, probably for the best so I can focus on the cl*** and not on your washboard abs...

 

I will be at the workshop! And I can't wait. Should be alot of fun. I didn't know it was going to include ****** though! haha

 

I may have missed this, but whose Mercury will be getting chopped?

I initially thought about commuting. It's a 1.5 hour drive from where I am at. Now, if there are bunch of guys staying over night and bench racing Saturday night, I may change my plans.

How about an update boys. Did Gene make it OK? I suspect there were some weather delays because of the snow. How about some photos!

 

It was a fantastic Weekend. About as much fun a guy could have in two days! I was amazed at how much energy Gene has and how dang talented he is. Gene is truly a funny guy as well. If you ever get a chance to take his cl***, I highly recommended doing so. I met a few HAMBers as well. I'll post some photos later.

I was telling Roger, that I learned more in those 2 days than the whole year of school. Truly, an awesome guy and great teacher. Was great meeting every one.

It was a great 2 days and I learned alot also. Falcon you are right the only thing that slowed him down was his voice. He just kept going and going. I can't wait for the pictures the one on my phone didn't get saved. A gentleman got my picture with Gene on his camera and hope he gets it posted soon so I get a print. It was great meeting everyone and I hope to meet everyone again.

I even got Gene to take a few dents out of of my deck lid! Gotta love that.
