I am finishing a 67 Camaro - frame off and just 1/2 thru interior. Starting a 1940 Ford P/U. Dipped, stripped and primered for now. Have repro frame rails. Visits to junkyard and scored a mustang/Pinto front. Bought a LT1 from a caprice and ZF 6 speed. Looking for a bed and tailgate near Amarillo Texas

PegLegStrick, you are correct, the camaro is a unibody. The 67 camaro was stripped, dipped. The subframe was removed and repaired, damaged front horn. Roof removed, Donor car used for rockers , tail section. Used 2 engine stands for rotation. New floors, Roof from up north. Repro front clip doors and quarter panels. Ford 9 inch rear, M 21 trans, 496 BBC, Holley 1050, roller cam, GM Alum heads, Alum H2O pump , radiator. Putting door glass then finish interior. 22 degrees in my garage. Will have to wait awhile.

As far as the Ford, I found repro bed in Delores Co, for $799. Will order in Spring. I thought that I would join for help. The Ford was a rolling chassis. The frame is rotted but repairable, just easier to start with new rails. No bed. Had 4 metal fenders though. Sheetmetal repair is done.

I'm sure it's just a figure of speech.

    Another welcome from Washington.
