    Tyler, the car still looks like it did last time i saw it ....guess John didn't do much to it over the years, when i told Mike about the car I hoped John would sell it to him. ...............This car just needed to be in the right hands Awesome :D :D :D :D :D :D

  8. I wish they still had some of their Ed Pink late model parts...all burned up, chewed out and in the scrapper...might have a set of valve covers around somehwere..:eek:

    Awesome find on the old dragster. Whats the story with the comp coupe?Its awesome. It looks orignal?
     
  12. dont wanna get too off topic, but, THE DRIFTER was originally THE RATTLER IV...home built chassis by Slim Carter from Ohio...my grandad used to run around with him in the early 60s...sold in the later 60s and re painted..still mostly all original...mild injected smallblock with a glide...fun deal..

    Have seen the car run many times at Beech Bend US 60 , OHIO VALLY great find wonder what happend to car before the digger beleave it was an Opel gt called The Wild Frog?

    Jack Hart had a 68-69 corvette called the Wild Frog , I saw it a few years back other than the wheels it looked the same..... KILLER car :D
