i have a 41-46 chevy pickup and im looking for pics of them so i can see whats missing from mine.so could u post some pics of them to help me out thank uall.
its missing the front finders and grill and the frame.my plans for it is to build a frame and put a ford front axle and 9-inch ford rear and ford moter and trans.its channeled about4-inches and im going to chop it about 4-inches.and shorten the bed about 2 feet.with 16x5.5 wheels on front and 15x7 or 8 on the back.motor is going to be a ford fe 390 with ether a 4-speed or c6 auto.with 3.50 or 55 gears in the back axle
This chassis and body are complete but the body is scattered around the yard and shop. [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] Then here is my friends truck I am helping him work on. It has been chopped 3" and the cab has been stretched 6" [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] Kevin LFD Inc.
The lines are just Napa hard lines in the stick form. Then I have a nice blue point hand bender and a sweet hand held hydro flare kit. These turned out ok for a truck that you will never see under. It was a quick job for a friend but if you take your time it can turn out like art work. I will try and find some pics of my nice work. Kevin LFD Inc.
my '46 one ton. just as i drug it home, except now the 216 is unlocked and as soon as the weather clears a bit gonna get it fired and start driving it to work. second pic is photoshop fun, i wasn't going to chop it but man with that 9' bed it looks killer.
This is my 41 GMC as it looked when I bought it a couple of years ago. Sorry for the poor quality pics, I don't have anything recent.
I'm not a big fan of these trucks being cut down into rods, but I have to admit, this one has a great look! Can you share with us who is building it?
This one is quite similar to the direction that I am going for on my truck. I built this model of my truck so I could work on the overall look. sorry if you've seen this pic before, I promise I won't post it again.
