Channeled my sedan today. Whatcha think?

    So, most people have a party on their birthday. Me? I worked on my car all day! :)

    Here she is. No even close to finished, but whatcha think? i need to raise it up in the front bout 2 inches yet.

    that looks very cool .. it will be a nice ride when finished
    my 32 tudor is channeled 6 inches over an a model ch***is and has a similer stance to yours
    ohh and happy birthday hahaaaa

    this is going to sound like a dumb*** o/t question, but . . .in a car channeled like that do you level out the seat higher in the front or do you just sit in the seat at a 35 degree angle and slipping of the seat because of the stance once in a while?

    Well i like to keep my frames pretty level, thus keeping the floor level. The body is raked, but the floor stays with the frame.
     
  7. wow, that looks great. i like some raked channeling and some i dont.
    the A coupe Bad bob posted looks great, the angle gives it an agressive stance.
    at the speed you work, i guess the cars not far off finished. keep them pics coming.

    Newbee here, but how does the front suspension work on that Model A ? Where is the spring located? Thanks

    The spring is behind the grill and attached to the wishbones. If you look in the last pic,you can see where it's attached just behind the step-up in the wishbone.

    i never understood this look, looks like the frame is broke, or someone tried to lower it but gave up half way

    thats the best thing about building your own car
    everyone has a different look on things and what one person thinks is wrong anouther thinks its ohh so right
    i love the bent frame look
