I'd subscribe to the Hamb magazine. If there was one.

At the moment Rod and Custom fits with what I like but I buy most of the ones that feature the more traditional cars.
Rodders Journal has the best photography and great articles but only comes out four times a year.
Rod and Culture has great photography but has it's ups and downs as far as content.
Others I check out at the stand and only buy when they actually have an article that has info I want.
Still it's all about what fits your personal needs and not what the rest of us tend to favor. I've had a subscription to Hot Rod ever since November 1959 When my grandmother bought it for me for my birthday and she bought it every year through 1975 when she p***ed away and I have subscribed ever since. Good issues, fair issues, great issues, terrible issues. I like it more than I don't like it so I keep getting it.

Rod&Custom = Good bang for the buck.

Street Rodder = Pretty good tech. Lots of yuppy stuff.

Rodders Journel = Spendy, but worth it and more

TRJ and R & C, although I'd pay whatever they asked, if TRJ was a monthly mag!

I'm a big fan of Rod and Kulture, Garage and Hot Rod Deluxe. All of those are not monthly but i would rather wait for good features and articles than get one with a bunch of fluff to fill pages.

Rod and Custom has always been my favorite.
If you shop, you can get most of them quite cheap and I subscribe to most of them.
I buy a package deal at the Louisville nats and got a T-shirt and hat to boot.
