Home brewed pick up box

    I bought some new sheet metal machines a little whole ago to play with and this is what I came up with.

    I copied the box for my 51 Merc pickup seems to have turned out pretty well, now I guess I will have to try and make one for the chevy thats it's sitting on in the pics. Stake pockets will be a real challenge on the chev.

    There are quite a few venders that sell stock looking stake pockets for around $40.00 each if your not up to making them.The ones you made for the box you show look pretty good.Burl.

    Looks like you've caught on how to use your new tools. Nothing to be ashamed of if you built that box.

    Hotrod33 Thanx I picked up a 16ga 48" box/pan brake a bead roller and a electric shear. I had the 78" bend done at the local fab shop.
