Try PMing Cword. His dad was just inducted into the HOF up here so he might know how it's done.

Very seldom in our lives does someone, especially so young have such an impact on so many lives in way to short a time. I think this young man did his job well as a role model for us all. I am glad folks are celebrating his life rather than mourn it.
Go with God my young friend.

What an inspiring young guy. And the gift he brought, that so many were able to lend a hand to. Doc, Sellers, all the guys in the MidWest and so many others... at our best. Thanks for the recalling, Leon

THAT is an incredible idea. Look at the people around the world he touched in his life. Very fitting.
I'm showing my support in my signature from here on...

Well, it's the Canadien Street Rodding hall of fame-and Andy was a HOTRODDER, but here are the nominating criteria-

    He sure made an impact.
I've been wondering how his family was doing but didn't feel right to ask.
Now that this thread is out.... might as well ask and wish them well.
What were the plans for his car? I hope it brings a smile in some way to them. It sure did to many of us.

Andys folks are doing as expected with the loss of their youngest son. Andys car will remain a treasured part of their lives.....appearing every blue moon at a cruise or car show.

He was a HUGE part of Hot Rodding around here, and equally a HUGE part of the HAMB and a HUGE part of our lives.

Why not get a thread started on nominating him? I read the criteria and as far as i can see he qualifies. 80 some thousand Hambers should help this cause.

    Andy Dunn, hot rodder, 14.

Very fitting but that doesn't come close to telling the impact that HAMBANDY had on all of us. I believe he made us all better people and made us realize what is really important during our time here on earth. He is certainly gone but will never be forgotten.

Dunnie (Chris) has a small garage area on the side of his home garage that he WAS using for storage, now converted to "Andys Garage" and thats where he keeps Andys car. He has a beautiful job done to it and even has some seats/stools around along with Andys music collection. Some of Andys pics and things are there too.
    It's awesome to be honest!

The Hot Rod will be upgraded in the Traditional style as time goes on and cared for just as it would have been by Andy himself.

The local HAMB builders are there to help with the A, if and when Dunnie needs us and I'm sure that goes for the many local Non-HAMBers who played a part in it as well.
That little A means a lot to a great number of people.

The car is in good hands and will continue to represent Andy, the HAMB and all its world members for many years into the future. :)

Hey everybody, I'm filling in the nomination form, right now . I'll let everyone know, how we can all help make this happen. Andy represented all that hot rodding should be about and then some. I'll start a new thread when I get home from work tonight with more info.
