Good morning from chilly Wisconsin. When I started work at Old Cars Weekly in '78 the hobby was a three-season thing. Now, it is truly a year round thing. I do at least one "old car" thing every week. This past Wednesday I visited Kelly's Hot Rod Parts in Birnamwood, Wis. and Alfa Heaven in Aniwa, Wis. I saw over 300 old vehicles!!!

I was only kidding last night when I started a thread asking if winter was over. Winter is a fun time, no matter how cold it gets. You just have to have a positive at***ude and think creatively.

By the way, is winter over next week?

74 degrees forecast for today. Nice day to take the convertible out.

  7. high 30's to mid 40's here. I don't need heaters in my uninsulated metal building when it's this warm. I do add a couple laters of clothes.

    Gunner,
I like how OCW has snuck some hot rods in recently. The paper benefits from the Ken Gross articles. Glad to see you here! This picture is to remind me that winter will end here in northern Wisconsin by June.

I cannot comprehend living in those cold temperatures.I think the world is coming to and end when it gets into the 20s down here. Its in the 30s and its too cold for me to do anything.More power to you guys up in the far north.Thank God that I live in Alabama! I can take the 90-100 degrees with 90% humidity in the summer.I just can't take the cold you guys survive.

It's 13 now here in the St. Louis area. I'm all bundled up and building a storage shed to put the motorcycles in. Couple more days and the 53' will have a garage to sleep in and for me to work on it in! That's what's driving me to work in this freezer today!!!

LOL. Well, we do get Alberta clippers once in a while. And they'll freeze your nuts off.
