I have only seen this word in print...
How do you pronounce it??

Fay-eh-ton seems to be the official way to say it.

 

Two recognized pronunciations:
"FAY-EH-TON" or "FAY-TON" Depends on what part of the country you are from among other things
Or you could just say,"four door convertible without roll up windows"

My dad has owned a 31' Ford Phaeton my entire life. Its what I came home from the Hospital in. Ive always heard it pronounced. Lets see If I can do this. "FAY-ETT-INN" Hope that makes sense and helps ya out.

 

In Iowa we say fay-ton.

 

If it's a fake four door convertible it's a phantom phaeton.
