The Pismo Derelicts hosted their annual New Year's day garage tour. My brother and I took my RPU and my dad and my son Logan took dad's 40 coupe.
    First stop near Avila Beach...

The 36 3W was my favorite of the stop. It was a nicely "screwed up" early Ford. Still 21 stud flathead and early drivetrain...

Then we headed on into San Luis Obispo to Jack Dewar's museum (at my place of employment). The 4-banger guys here should like this place...

Then we headed across town to Jack's work shop and to tour the guitar shop next door.

Then on next door to Jack's shop where he and his friends tinker...
Phil's long time rpu project. The truck was originally built in the 50's as a Bonneville push truck. Phil just put a new ch***is under it, as the old one was hacked pretty bad...and replaced the banger with a flathead V8...it's gonna be a cool truck!

Looks like there are a lot of welfare hot rodders out there. We could take up a collection if you think it will help.
Seriously, that was a great collection of cars you posted and thank you for taking the time to do so. It had to be a great time spent with likeminded friends.

Thanks Neal for taking the time to post this thread. I saw Max's Riley powered Model A at Pat Gary's shop when I dropped by in 2008 - he fired it up and the sound of that banger made my knees go weak - built to the hilt!

Looks like it was a great day.

Hey Neal, Thanks for the "tour", Being an "A" lover, those A's are something else. Lots of variety, It would be great to own one of those nice cars. How many did Jack have? WOW! By the way, the temp didn't get above "zero" here that day.

Thanks for the pics. Resonator guitars have been around for years wood and metal bodies. Also called dobros although I think Gibson has the TM on the Dobro name. There was an old man down south of us years ago that had a metal resonator that was painted Case orange. He could play it pretty well too.
