Anyone know the best way to get paint (powder coat) on hood hinges, without uneven coverage, or bare spots, when the hinges aren't fully in one position or another?

You would probably have to spray the power with the hinges in one position and then move them to another or several other position (s)to finish the job before sending them to the oven. I've never been inclined to have anything powder coated and probably never will but that seems to be the way to get the best coverage.

I disassemble them and coat all pieces separately to get good coverage in all areas.

I am working on the hood hinges, and they cannot be dissassembled, other then removing the spring.

Boing..and if hinges is plural, so are springs. Be careful.
