Tough to cut a 20ft tube on a band saw. My old saw just died after 20 some years of service and I replaced it with a rigid after looking at all the saw avalible it was the only one with a cast iron base the rest were sheet metal.

Bought a Makida 14" orange and silver model 20 years ago. Used It for 10 years 5 days a week cutting tubing all day long and been using it off and on for the last 10 years. Only thing I replaced was the cord because the sparks got to it . Things never quit yet, knock on wood!!!

    What?.....are you thinking vertical only?

I use a Makita I bought in 1976. Still works good. I shouldn't have said this, now it will quit.
