Recently bought a 54 Chevy 210 two door. Have ***le in hand for it but there is one discrepancy. The door tag is B540044344 but the ***le says B5430044344. Typo? The thing is I bought this car site unseen from Minnesota had it shipped to me in Indiana and now I have to have the DMV verify that the ***le matches the car. Any suggestions?

Yeah I have to say it is a typo. Looked into it a little more and the vin should only be 10 digits long unless it was a V8 which it is not. Flattering the gals at my DMV is going to be a little hard to stomach if you know what I mean. Not to easy on the eyes.

I had a Chevelle like that one time. I'd owned it for years, but when I went to sell it I noticed the VIN on the ***le was one number short. I had to take it to the Highway Patrol to have it checked out. It wasn't a big deal.
