Help me id these old metal shields of some sort! HELP!

I have these shields for a very long time now, I bought them at a garage sale a long time ago and I thought that they might go to like an old corvette or something? I dont have a clue, I am not an expert in this kind of stuff but I dont need them so I figured I better find out for sure before I list them for sale. Please let me know if you might know what they go to or maybe someone who might? Thanks!

They're worth some serious bucks to a Corvette restorer.

 

Man I guess! Looking at the repoped shields they go for $200-$300 per shield. Thanks guys! So looks like they are 1963-1965 shields.
