There's as many ways to chop a top "correctly" as there are shades of Green.
This one's on the way to looking good, I think.

Best Fleetline chop I've seen on here...although loco 52's rear quarters are *so* choice.

I didn't think a fleetline would look as nice as it does with that much of a chop.... looks killer tho

Decklid, yeah, I feel for ya. Spent the last couple days fitting the inner frame to a 49 Olds fastback I chopped and sectioned. Tommorow I start making the skin fit. Definatly the worst part of the chop on a fastback is doing the decklid!

  18. You guys are killin' me. I haven't been on here in a long time and logged back in to think about posting this car up for sale here only to find out my original thread got revived with more positive remarks, damn! Truth is this car is soon going up for sale to concentrate on other projects. It has been sitting far too long without attention and I'm beginning to feel like that guy that hordes more cool cars than he can ever get too (I hate that guy) and so I'm going to clean it up a bit and post it up in the for sale section so someone else can enjoy it.....stay tuned, I'll try not to take too long for those that may be interested.
