I'd like to fix up this tired distributer machine. I'm having a tough time finding things to replace the broken and missing parts. Would appreciate any help if you know where to find replacements parts for this machine.

what is missing or broken? i see the motor direction switch that can be found at most any good hardare store, just a 2 way switch spdt, to make the moter run one way or the other, if yourguages are damaged ,dont know about finding those, looks complete other wise, give us a rundown on what is broke ,missing,

  3. Here is the current owner of the Allen brand: http://www.adspx.com/uscaprod.htm

They list Superior as the contact for older Allen equipment. Odds are that they can't supply much, but they may be able to offer suggestions.

Thanks for responding OCS. Initially I need a tach and cam angle gauge. The motor direction switch is there inside the case but the wiring harness is shot and cut up so a diagram would be helpful. The gauge lenses I think I can make pretty easily.

Thanks for the lead Homespun. I'll try in the morning to get ahold of them. Pretty unlikely they still make new parts but maybe they can turn me on to a service tech that has the old stuff laying around.

Would also love to know what year this unit is and if an operation manual can still be had.

    Thanks guys!!!

I have copies of the manual you need. I have an Allen as well. How can I get a copy to you?

    Hi Racer,
I see from your post you may have a manual for the Allen unit. My boss picked up a unit over the weekend at a garage auction. It is in rough shape but seems to be complete. Let me know if I may get a copy.
Reply when you get a chance.

    Thanks,
    George
