i looooove the pre-war eddie meyer. running heated lines is pretty much unnecessary with our modern fuels. but they look great. we are running one on my boss's flathead and it works like a charm.

I, As well, am a Why And Believer!

On the Flip Side, The Thickstun is One Bad *** Piece! That Edel Slingy is Deadly looking. The Meyer seems to be the Star Of The Show.

    Man I love Flatheads.....

  6. The Weiand. It has a far more organic, natural design that lends itself to the symetrical and simple form of a Flathead.

  7. The Eddie Meyer is the one.

    Why?

The Slignshot is being repro'd, the Weiand is not too difficult to find...the EM, much less common.

Having said that, I have heard that the EM have fuel distribution issues.

I would have to go for the Weiand, only because the Eddie Meyer appears to have been broken and welded. Get a matching set of FR (For Racing) Weiand heads with a logo generator offset, or set of Weiand cheater heads. Find yourself an early Weiand decal for the firewall. That would be my plan.

    Good luck.

I'm a Weiand man myself, but the Eddie Meyer is a slick lookin setup with the cooling fins for a denser charge. All together theres noth'in like a highrise manifold!
