While out in the Nevada desert I found this piece of vintage tin waiting for resurrection. Here is the challenge....anybody recognize it and the location.

I don't know the location, but the truck is a '37 International.

Looks to be a K or KB-6 2ton or larger truck (1941-1949) not a 1937 they do use the D series cab and front fenders (1937-1940)

Yep, know exactly where it is and have photographed it before with the 5X7 camera. It's in Pioche, NV. at one of the abandoned mine sites.

Exactly what I was thinking! Some photoshopping to the real print or something? Looks neat either way!

When I lived in Vegas in the early 80s, I found a '29 Model A Sport Coupe Body in a sandy ravine about 7 miles dead south of the Tropican Hotel and a 31 "A" Slant Window sedan in the brush about 5 miles west of Town. I gave the sport coupe body to a buddy and scavanged the sheet metal I wanted from the slant window. Nevada used to have lots of vintage tin just lying out in the desert. probably not so much anymore.

Sorry, picture is the real deal. It was overcast that day which must have created the look with no shadows. Inexpensive Kodak digital camera.
