RANCH RUN 2005.......................

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by rogue, Nov 8, 2004.

  1. Yes, it's happening. The date is Janurary 15th. There are some flyers out with the wrong date. We'll post a new flyer soon.
Only folks who RSVP can go this year, no exceptions. E-mail Carrie @ carrie_benitez@hotmail.com to get your spot and door tag number. Or your friends without computers may call Carrie @ 760-749-4039 . If nobody answers, have them leave a message.
Unfortunatly, I will not have much to do with this one due to some time restraints. Carrie will be handling it, and I will be here at the ranch to greet everyone.

Hey everyone! I don't know how we're going to do it, but I'm really excited about the run this year! I get to set it up all by myself this time, 'cause my main squeeze is very, very busy. Make sure you and all your friends E-MAIL ME with your RSVP's, otherwise I won't be able to get you on the list. Oh, and phone calls are okay too. But I don't have time to check the HAMB on a regular basis. I'm a mommy now you know... [IMG]

    Our number is 760-749-4039.

    It's gunna be a blast!

Here is the flyer... We have 21 return participants signed up so far, and now it's time to step it up and get the word out. If you have the time, please print it and give it out to everyone you know. The more the merrier! And remember to please E-MAIL ME YOUR RSVP's (or call), 'cause I don't have time to check the HAMB. I'm a busy, busy, girl!

Any of you folks have an open seat for this one. I'm going to be out there on a haul and would love to come along. I'll hit Mike's in Phoenix on the 13th I think, and could actually run chase from there to Cali.

    Thanks,
    BenD

This reminds me alot of the Fall Mountain Run the Rod Knockers used to do except they started in San Marcos and drove up to Juliean and back down to Bates Nut Farm. Some of the old school hot rodders from San Diego might remember that.

the high point of the Run was ridin' with you in that Roadster. Funny story, cars are lining up and getting ready for the start of the run. Everyone has hats and gloves and blankets like they are going to Antartica, and I have a t-shirt and a light jacket on. Thet're telling me your gonna freeze, and I'm like freeze? It's January and I'm from Michigan, where's the beach? Looking forward to getting back in that Roadster Willie!

There still is a Fall Mountian Run, not sure who puts it on, but they call it the same and the route is the same.
