the hood was beyond repair, but i think it had more to do with rust through and my dad walking on it as a kid, at some point during his visits to that farm.

not any damage to the roof other than some surface rust. i don't think those goats were too heavy. :D

Thanks everyone for all the kind words!

Looking good Straights. I think you will be very pleased with it once you get it on the road. You won't be winning many drag races with it but it will get you down the road just fine.

I'm running the same basic set up as Straights. Don't know where he got his stuff but I got mine intake, headers, HEI dist and carbs from Langdon's Stovebolts.

Here is a clip of mine running through 2 inch pipes and 14 inch turbo mufflers.

hkestes... that engine sounds great! Certain Turbo mufflers and Flowmaster 40's (the original ones) really sound great on inline sixes.

carter webers, '83 ford i think... not exactly traditional, but in a pair the cfm is supposed to be about right for these motors.

Plymouths were known as "goats" LONG before Pontiac fans stole the name as a nic for the GTO.

For those who may not understand "why???", Dodges have always been known as "Rams"; and Plymouths, therefore, were "Goats"

I've been lurking around that thread on the p15-d24 site... looks like a lot of fun. If the car proves reliable enough, and my bank account big enough (I am just a starving college student ;)) that might be somethin' I could do.
