Went to look at this wagon. A little ruffer than I'd like. You could probably drop a 19" TV through the floor board behind the p***enger seat. Ashame. Last tagged 69 with 60K on the clock. Most of the rust probably came from sitting. was bought just outside of town new too. More damage from sitting with pack rats and mice than anything else. I really want a wagon too. 2 other impalas by it, both 4drs one a post other a hard top

I can't say that I've seen many 61 wagons. I'm sure there's a lot more rust that you can't see, but then again, I've seen people start with a lot worse.

If the price is right it could still be worth putting together. I've worked w/way worse...look at my 58 if you don't believe me.

In this part of the country, you'd be bragging about finding a '61 Chevy wagon with that much left of it!

I think they want $500 for the 61 wagon. Not sure of the other cars. Was kind of odd they were all 61's and just by coincidence not looking for that year specifically

I've always had a soft spot for 61 Chevs. My grandmother bought a Wagon that same color new off the showroom floor here in town. Traded in her 54 210 two door. Mom had a 61 Impala 4 door that was one of the better cars she ever had and the first car she bought for herself (fresh divorce).

I'd say buy all three. take the parts you need to build 1 good car then part the rest and make 3 times your money back. with that money buy new pans and install. wave the "cool" wand at it a bit and viola. *****in 61 wagon.

One of my favorite stationwagons. Had one in my sights about 5 years ago and by the time I arrived at the sellers place with a pocket full of cash the new owner was driving it out of the driveway.:( To make matters worse it ws a rust free western car.

We could use the tailgate window and crank mechanism for the 61 wagon we have.
