My name is Rob and Im a motor head I reside in San Antonio TX and Im addicted to all things that have engines. I was introduced to this wicked good forum by my good friend BPD (Big Pimp Daddy for those of you not in the know). He and I have collaborated on many automotive ventures, most of which centered around drag racing. I helped him pick up his new 54 Chevy cruiser last month and I was hooked. I just bought the 52 Dodge truck pictured here. It has been mounted on a Dodge D50 chassis and currently runs the 2.0 4 cylinder w/4-speed trans. All of the work so far was done by one of the previous owners, and Im glad to say the fabrication work is pretty darn good. Future plans include a new GM 4.2 liter six-cylinder power plant, a revamped interior, and lots of Black Epoxy primer. Still undecided on wheels yet, but something Ol School would be very nice. I am currently the Production Manager for a small contract Aerospace Machine Shop, but own a small Fabrication shop as well. The later affords me the financial resources and equipment to support my passions. Like my Sign On name alludes to, I love turbos. I have installed turbos on almost every type of car imaginable, and some motorcycles too. I know EFI and turbos arent old school, but Im addicted to the gross overage of power and reliability these two afford. I hope this board will be able to overlook my choice of technology and accept me as a fellow motor head with a passion for old iron. I am more of a voyeur than participant when it comes to Forums, so expect me to do more reading than writing. Cheers, El Turbo Bug
Welcome aboard. Have you ever put a turbo on a old Flathead? Could be very different yet somewhat appealing. Glad you finally showed up. Good luck with your truck

Welcome, Hope to see you at the Hangin Tree on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Most of the locals hang out and bring their rides there. Sean Castillo and the Hubcaps always put on a mighty fine show and he has a special song for all the ladies.
