GMC Jimmy 302 - Fisher Aluminium Head

    Here are a few pic's of a Fisher head on a 302 GMC Jimmy we located the other day as part of a garage crawl tour. An amazing piece with less than twelve Fisher heads known to exist.

    Gotta love those Ardun killers.

    The piston was cast by the machinist, used to this day in his iron head Jimmy, feed by a trio of 48's on alcohol....

    I think you may require a small mortgage to buy that motor... If it could be purchased, that is....

    Having met both Bill Fisher and Wayne Horning I think I can say that California Bill (He told me he hated that name) would have called it a Horning-Fisher head.
