    Lincoln zephyr 47 48, I'm not sure about the grill maybe a 46?

    They were wide, do a google search I think that grill may make it a 42. I ***ume it would be very rare.

    It's a Lincoln Continental, circa 1947-48.

    42 Lincoln Continental with fade away fenders added. They normally stopped at the door/cowl area.

    i usually know what's in my shop.it got there somehow by somebody.

    I just found one in a barn too but a 1947 along with a Club Coupe and 4 Door Sedan!

  16. Here's a photo I just pulled of a quick Google search...
    The grill area seems to be the same as your garage find, and your doors have definitaly been reworked.
    It needs to be reunited with a 1942 Hot Rodder like me!!!

    well my brother said some guy from out of state dropped it off, at my shop, but does any body know what or who built?

    HAHA that's funny! this car was a movie car, Anchors away, frank sinatra and Gene Kelly, a lot of history here, im kinda gathering history now changing printed pic's to JPG and movie clip's to JPG, and then i will post the info. Thank's for the fun Chris

    what do you mean a guy just dropped it off? Some stranger just gave you a a rare 42 conti convertible that just happened to be driven by ol blue eyes from a major motion picture back in the day?
    42 lincoln convertibles are super rare. only 136 built that year.
