My 64 wagon left Omaha today on a transport headed to California where it will be put on a boat and shipped to it's new owner in Austraila.
    Farewell Mate.

    Gary,

Good deal for you and for the mate down there. He's going to love it, when he sees it in person.

Yea I had to drive it about 6 blocks to meet the transport. Got a little trashed, but not nearly as bad as its gonna get on the open transport. Was a little hard to believe he didn't step-up to a enclosed trailer.

    Thanks Dallas

Yup, it always hurts a bit, but I had a lot of fun with this car and it seen some good road trips. It was time to move on

Cmon, I had this car almost 5 years. Thats nearly a record for me

I work in Ulladulla & hav'nt seen hide nor hair of it yet ..the new owner must be keepin' it under wraps. I always have the trusty camera with me so if I see it I'll get a happy snap in it's new home.;).

Those are Impala tailights, your right all models of 64 wagons had the single rectangular tailight on each side. When Jeff Meyers (Fink'd) did the paint work I had him mold them in.

It just left yesterday so I'm thinking it will be at least a month before it lands in Austraila. Seeing a picture of it there would be so cool.

The 40 pic's are before the **** storms hit. Things sure look different now

Kongrats on the sale Gary!! I was thinking that it would be tuff to watch your wagon
go. Looking at what you will be driving this spring, I bet that you will get over it. You
had one of the koolest wagons around, glad that I go to see it before it left the
    states.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

Thanks, and I'm sure we will be back at Des Moines for the 4th. Great venue, Great show

Thanks Mick, it was a little unusual but I did really like that car and had a lot of fun with it. One of the most memorable times was making it to the "Starliner"show in whitchita last year. certainly looking foward to that again. Gary
